MEET ANGELICA
OWNER & VIDEOGRAPHER
I’m Angelica, a wedding filmmaker based in North Carolina, traveling across the United States.
I’m drawn to weddings that feel unhurried and honest, the kind where the focus is on being present rather than performing. I work best with couples who trust their day as it is, without needing it to look a certain way.
On a wedding day, I stay observant and quiet, letting moments unfold naturally. I don’t ask for much, and I don’t interrupt what’s already happening. I believe the most meaningful parts of a wedding often happen in between, and those are the moments I care about preserving.
My films are made for remembering. For hearing voices again. For noticing things you may have missed. For returning to the day long after it’s passed, and feeling grounded in it once more.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I’m bilingual
I speak and understand both English and Filipino, and I feel most at home when I’m moving between worlds, cultures, and stories.
I’m happily married
Being on the other side of a wedding day has shaped the way I approach my work. I understand how quickly it all passes, how much you want to stay present, and how meaningful it is to have something honest to return to afterward. That perspective quietly guides the way I document weddings, with care, patience, and intention.
When I’m not filming weddings…
I’m often behind a camera in a different way. Landscape photography is another passion of mine, and capturing wide, quiet places helps ground me creatively. You’re always welcome to explore my personal Instagram to see more of that work.
I’m also an adventurer at heart
From trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, climbing to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru in Tanzania, to standing on a mountain ladder over 2,000 feet above sea level in Austria, and backpacking through south east Asia, travel has deeply shaped how I see the world. If you’re curious, you can find more of these experiences on my YouTube channel.
At home, life is a little slower and a lot fuzzier…
I’m a dog lover through and through, sharing my days with a bichon frise named Toby and a golden doodle named Stella.
Music is always playing in the background…
especially folk and indie artists like Caamp, José González, Mt. Joy, Ben Howard, RY X, Dustin Tebbutt, and others whose music feels honest and unpolished. That same feeling often finds its way into my films.
I LOVE TO EXPLORE.
Fun fact:
My film career started with personal travel films.
